As the famous preacher and theologian Charles Spurgeon says, “It is not how much we have, but how much we enjoy, that makes happiness.” Certainly the life of the believer should be marked by a deep sense of joy.  Joy that goes beyond circumstance and into the soul.  Happiness might be defined as a bit more fickle or superficial.  We strive to experience the joy of our salvation, but that doesn’t mean we can’t also have happiness!  This summer’s theme allows for some of the lighter joys that make us smile.  Hopefully, the happiness portrayed will bring a smile to your face.
