THE GALLERY

Being transparent before others with our life circumstances is not a natural posture for us.  We learn early on to cover up our weaknesses, shy away from our messiness, and conceal our suffering.  God knows all these things, and tells us in Psalm 56:8 that he has “kept count of my tossings; put my tears in your bottle.”  He is well acquainted with our grief.  There is also such power in things like confession, honesty, and vulnerability.  Our artists have taken time to expose things about life and perhaps even their own life in this exhibit.
